Selected. Photographed. Remembered — and just the start. The Class of 2026 is the record of who is moving Cincinnati forward, and an open invitation to everyone who wants to move with them.

Why this campaign exists
We Got Us Cincy is a portrait and storytelling campaign created in partnership with Black Voters Matter to celebrate the cultural leaders and everyday heroes already shaping Cincinnati.
The Class of 2026 includes organizers, artists, entrepreneurs, educators, advocates, and neighbors who understand that civic responsibility does not begin at the ballot box. It begins in our neighborhoods, our conversations, and our willingness to show up for one another.
This campaign is about more than portraits. It is about documenting the people creating change, amplifying the stories that often go untold, and reminding our city that civic power belongs to all of us. Every portrait is proof that ordinary people have the ability to shape what comes next.

August 23, 2026
The Class of 2026 culminates in one day — canvassing and phone banking across Cincinnati, then dinner and a movie that evening at Light of the World Church. Presented by Black Voters Matter and The Parks Collective Agency, and open to anyone ready to be part of the ripple effect.
Walk the neighborhood, knock doors, and put a face to civic responsibility.
Reach neighbors by phone and help make sure every voice gets counted.
Close the day with dinner and a movie — celebrating civic engagement together.
We Got Us. Because the future of Cincinnati will be shaped by the people courageous enough to tell their stories and bold enough to act on them.
